Updated 21 October 2026. This report describes the work prepared for Pedometer 1.1.2 (16) on iPhone and Apple Watch. The focused iPhone UI evidence below was collected on build 15; build 16 corrects the Watch background-mode declaration and preserves those interfaces. Version 1.1.2 is being prepared for App Review; the improvements described here are not a statement about every feature in the currently published 1.1.1 release.
These are descriptions of implementation and tested examples, rather than a claim that every assistive technology works throughout the app.
The retained iPhone layout evidence uses existing iPhone 17e and iPhone 18 Pro Max simulators, English demonstration data, and production views hosted in an isolated Debug test scene. The standard, first accessibility, and largest accessibility text-size screen matrix passed in light and dark appearance on both sizes. Exported screenshots were inspected in addition to interaction assertions.
Focused checks also covered error and unavailable-purchase screens, large activity values, all five chart ranges, live text-size changes, onboarding navigation, goal input with the keyboard visible, and Routes recording/library/planning flows. These checks cover the tested fixtures and do not replace native assistive-technology or real-device testing.
Retained measured examples include a three-case small-phone regression completing in 164.021 seconds, the final large-phone accessibility-size matrix completing in 438.530 seconds, and the final largest-text empty-onboarding check completing in 29.617 seconds. These are test-operation durations, not app performance measurements.
The final Watch design retains Today, the hourly Activity graph and daily summaries, the Daily Goal editor, and the additional Routes page. The graph, goal editor, Routes entry, and larger-text Routes button were visually checked on the existing Apple Watch SE 3 (40 mm) simulator after the final layout rollback.
Earlier tests of expanded Watch metric/range navigation and goal-history screens describe a design that was removed. We do not present those results as evidence for the final Watch interface. Watch Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency handling were inspected in code but not successfully toggled through all common tasks. Outdoor recording, haptics, paired-device synchronization, and native assistive-technology operation still require hardware verification.
The release includes iPhone Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and Watch widgets/complications. iPhone Appearance previews retain representative widget artwork while surrounding descriptions scale. Preview checks do not establish text scaling, contrast, VoiceOver behavior, or complete interaction coverage for every widget family, system tint, and Watch face. Widget presentation and refresh are also controlled by the operating system.
The Plus interface includes Monthly and one-time Lifetime access, prices and eligibility supplied by StoreKit, restore, and legal/account links. On 21 October, a fresh focused iPhone 18 Pro Max / iOS 27.0 Simulator run passed five UI tests with zero skips or failures, including loaded Monthly/Lifetime plan selection and fine print, largest-text plan/disclosure reachability, metric names/values and chart switching, and largest-text dark chart ranges with system Reduce Motion enabled. XCTest execution took 251.206 seconds; Xcode’s measured test operation took 268.776 seconds. Exported captures were inspected for readable chart content and reachable account/legal actions. At the largest text size, plan and disclosure content requires scrolling; a single screenshot does not show the whole purchase flow.
Earlier purchase-screen tests were skipped when the Simulator returned no products, and the retained full transaction suite had failures and a stalled restore check. A fresh 21 October non-UI rerun also failed for both plans while waiting for the exact current-entitlement and finished-transaction condition, after the preceding local purchase/unlock checks succeeded. The fresh loaded-screen results supersede the missing-product layout limitation, but do not establish a completed purchase, restore, or the full transaction lifecycle.
Native VoiceOver speech, cursor movement, and focus restoration remain unverified. Voice Control, Switch Control, Full Keyboard Access, full contrast coverage, advertising/consent interfaces, and all system-permission flows have not been established across every common task. We make no WCAG conformance claim.
App Store accessibility labels are evaluated separately for each device. We only indicate a feature when the evidence establishes that users can complete all common tasks with it, following Apple’s accessibility label criteria. Improvements specific to a future release are not published as labels for an older live version.
